THE following is the full text of the Memorandum of Understanding signed on Monday, July 21, 2008, by President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, representing his Zanu-PF party, Mr Morgan Tsvangirai, president of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) and Prof Arthur Mutambara, leader of a faction of the MDC:

    Welshman Ncube and Gibson Sibanda must fight for Ndebele space in that dialogue. We are tired of being the kicking ball while all three shona leaders jostle for positions in these talks. Again a few weak Ndebeles like Thokozani Khupe will be drafted into the cabinet and given less influential ministries JUST FOR REPRESENTATION! ENOUGH!
